| Hello, my name is Rose, and I spend far too much time on the internet. I'm a self-taught freelance artist who hopes to enter into Concept art for Videogames or Medical Illustration. Science is my passion next to art, I would love to be a doctor and had I not have screwed myself over in highschool I would be pursuing that goal! I have an allergy to UV light and penicillin, and a really lazy eye. I'm fairly boring and level-headed, haha. I really do love to talk a lot, though, and I'm terribly awkward in real-life social encounters. Thank you, technology. I like zombies, stripes, cookies, machines, trench-coats and tophats a whole lot. I don't like vanity, dishonesty and shallowness. And I've actually been a Deviant since Nov 22, 2003. THE COMMUNITY AND I  ~Blood-and-Sinew A club for macabre & horror anthro art. We hold contests and want to expose the obscure themed Anthro art out there. I am the founder of this club.  *ProjectComment This community project aims to give deviants a chance to receive in-depth and constructive comments on their work via news features and events. I am staff under the Digital Anthro gallery. Check out my chosen features here and drop them some love, please! These artists are seriously underappreciated.  *anthrochallenge Here, ran by the anthro community, you can find bi-monthly contests. The themes are often vague, leaving you a lot of room to think up something, and to encourage you to use your imagination. Really wonderful and inspiring idea. I am staff there and also in the corresponding chat, #IAmAnthro.  #GimmeFeedback A wonderful club designed to give you the feedback you desire. They encourage critique and honest, thought out comments. I am a member. But I have been elected to be a Moderator; they rotate who is staff frequently. YOU AND I  If you want an honest critique on your artwork, NOTE ME. I would love to help. You don't need the critique feature either for you to be a valid candidate. Just be prepared for me to be honest, I'm going to point out the faults as much as I am going to express what I love about it. I'm an experienced Digital painter and I dabble mostly in the Horror and Anthro genre, so if you have any questions on either please don't hesitate to ask. I have a digital colouring tutorial which may or may not be useful: I, however, will not watch you or favourite your art if asked. If you need prizes for contests, I am more than happy to donate some art! I've done this for a few, including my own. On some occasions I'm also able to donate 3 month subscriptions. Depends on how money is going- but note me if you need me anywho, we'll sort something out.OTHER STUFF SUGGEST A DD! You could make someones day. There is a really handy plugin that takes away the pain of having to sort through who to send the suggestion to. It's still advised you check the page of the GM this tool suggests, just to have a look at their guidelines, but this makes things a hell of a lot easier. You should also check out this mini-documentary by ^Katmomma; it has some interesting and fun facts and advice. FILM: Daily Deviations- Let's Talk. Or, alternatively: FAQ #18: Who selects the Daily Deviation and how is it chosen? Just remember that you won't always get a reply since the GM's are busy people, and that not every suggestion of yours will be featured. Don't be disheartened by this! While you're welcome to ask me for information or help with the genres of art I specialize in, here is a list of the gallery mods who probably know a hell of a lot more than I do; Anthro: Both very friendly and approachable people! my mom was taking us scuba diving at like, a half-sunken plane crash in the Gulf by this beach resort. and for some reason my cat was coming with (to the hotel near the place, not the actual dive.)
none of that make sense/is expected in my life. but when my alarm went off, i was still excited/looking forward to the trip until i was literally 99% awake. which frightened and then saddened me. XD
